- I have been an artist for many, many years and just like Van Gogh I am beginning to wonder ‘when is anyone going to break down and buy one of my paintings?’ My problem is that for many years I was operating on my weaknesses – talent and natural abilities. Now, I have decided to go with my strengths – lack of talent and natural abilities -- and pessimism. I have finally accepted the fact that just like Van Gogh my paintings will sell for millions after I am gone. So the least that I can do at this time is to share them with you. Now you may think that my approach to trying to sell paintings is crazy - but didn’t they say that about Van Gogh?
